Cheryl joined Beech Acres in 2014 and has supported families through a variety of channels during her tenure. Cheryl currently provides operational and logistical oversight of the Beyond the Classroom (BtC) program, which offers school-based behavioral health services in several local charter, catholic and Cincinnati Public Schools. Cheryl also provides administrative and clinical supervision to a team of supervisors. Cheryl earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Cincinnati. She is an independently licensed clinical social worker and supervisor (LISW-S).
In addition to her clinical work, she is a member of the BAPC Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Core Team, as well as a member of the BtC DEI Steering team. She is a champion and voice for promoting racial diversity, equity and inclusion. Cheryl is also a member of several community organizations and non-profit boards, where her passion for serving others and advocating for those who are historically marginalized, seamlessly intersects with dismantling and addressing racial and social injustices.
