Beech Acres welcomes Marilyn Zayas-Davis to our Board of Directors

Awesome people are hard to come by. So, we’re grateful to have many of them serving on our Board of Directors. For our 2014-15 fiscal year, we’ve welcomed three new members the board, and we’d like to introduce them to you. This week, meet Marilyn Zayas-Davis, Esq.

M4034S-4211Marilyn Zayas-Davis is a lawyer specializing in employment and family-based immigration, with a private practice located in downtown Cincinnati. She previously worked as a Hamilton County Public Defender.

Marilyn grew up in a high crime, inner-city neighborhood in New York City and made Cincinnati her home in 1988 when she relocated to work for Procter and Gamble.  She spent time in Denver working as an Intellectual Property, and Labor and Employment attorney.  She earned her law degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she has served as an Adjunct Professor.

In 2013, Marilyn was awarded the Distinguished Hispanic Ohioan Award by the Ohio Commission of Hispanic and Latino Affairs.


She says she’s excited to join the Beech Acres board and is particularly interested in working on support services for children. We’re excited to have her aboard!
