Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST)

Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST)

In many schools throughout Greater Cincinnati, we have community mental health workers. This service is called community psychiatric supportive treatment (CPST).

The therapist provides support and guidance to children with behavioral health challenges. They meet children and parents at home, in school, or around the community, helping to build coping skills and confidence, manage difficult emotions, improve relationships, and support parenting.

If there is a Beech Acres Parenting Center office at your child’s school, check there about how to get started.

Aren’t sure whether CPST is offered at your child’s school?
