Why did you consider foster care and adoption?

Our youngest daughter at the time was the only child in the house. She wanted somebody to play with because she was lonely. We decided to adopt because it was the next natural thing to do!

What would you say to families considering foster care & adoption? 

Do it!! Give it a chance! I never thought we would be here because my husband who is in law enforcement was initially against it but after a few weeks in pre-service classes, he realized the need and was won over!!

The foster care community has kept us encouraged and inspired us to keep going! We have met some forever friends, great social workers and caseworkers, and most importantly great kids! We still feel there are more kids that need us, all of US!!
