Foster Parent Support Group – 3 session set February 11, March 11, and April 8 – Please register for each class individually.
This 3-session support group provides foster parents with a safe and supportive cohort to explore the unique challenges and rewards of parenting in foster care. Each session will focus on a specific aspect of the foster care experience: foster (resource) parenting as an identity, managing the emotional complexities of parenting within foster care, and fostering self-care and resilience as caregivers. Through guided discussions and shared experiences participants will leave with emotional support and a deeper sense of connection with others on a similar path.
These sessions build on each other. Please try to attend all three classes.
