Join us on June 25, 2022, from 2-4 at Washington Park in Over the Rhine for this Foster Care event!

The #TakeAChance event is to bring awareness to the need for people to consider fostering within their own community. More than 673,000 children are victims of abuse and neglect in 2018. On any given day in Ohio, nearly 16,000 children are being cared for away from their parents. A lot of families are already fostering children within their community, we want them to have the additional support from our Foster Care Community. Foster Parenting Changes Generation. Children and youth can learn from families who are stable, loving, and safe. Foster parents can provide security and safety, that children can grow up and pass on to their own children, and their children will do the same. Communities like Bond Hill, Avondale, Westwood, North College Hill, and West Price Hill, can all make a difference in their communities by considering foster care. At the event, we will have a panel discussion to hit taboo topics and engage with current foster parents on what fostering really looks like the good and the not-so-fun parts. We want families to join us at this event to #TakeAChance on #FosterCare, Ask questions and get answers.
