Class will be in person at the Beech Acres offices at 615 Elsinore Place, 5th floor in the Love of Learning-A Training Room
The goal of this training is to: educate participants on the nuances of education law, the rights of children to appropriate educational services and the Child Find provision of the Individuals with Disabilities Act. Participants will also be better prepared to assist children facing disciplinary action in school. Finally, participants will be more aware of barriers to enrollment for children with special needs and how to overcome those barriers.
