The With All Families prevention team from Beech Acres Parenting Center participated in the Most Valuable Kids of Greater Cincinnati – MVK Reds Experience. Ten of our kinship families were able to experience the Cincinnati Reds game on 6/21. This was an end-of-the-year event to thank our families for all they do! Thank you to MVK and the Reds for this special evening!
Our With All Families Prevention Services team Shantell Hankerson, Rebecca Widmeyer, Krissi Gale, and Melissa Hadley, has been working with the Family Centered Treatment Foundation to bring the Family Centered Treatment program to the families that we serve. As part of our partnership with the Family Centered Treatment Foundation, we were able to participate in their national Day of Giving with other organizations that facilitate this programming as well. Our team chose to make Mindful Office Self-Care Baskets to share with four organizations that help us in the work we do every day to support the families in our communities. We chose Jack’s Closet and Give Like a Mother, which are both amazing local clothing closets, Tikkun Farm, which provides food resources and spiritual opportunities, and the YMCA in Warren County because they provide a wonderful meeting space and child care that enables us to bring our support groups and classes to the community. This was a fun and rewarding experience for our team and the recipients!

The Problem Every day there are loving caregivers in Greater Cincinnati that may be facing barriers, unexpected responsibility or simply want to open their home to children. Our Solution Our team is equipped to support foster families, adoptive families, kinship families, and any family facing challenges and hardships that need empathy and help connecting to resources. For individuals willing to open their hearts and their homes to children who are simply needing safety & love, the Beech Acres foster care and adoption team has been supporting foster families for over 40 years. For a grandparent, aunt, uncle, or even a close friend taking care of a loved one’s child full time, this support network offers individual coaching, support groups, and an evidenced-based parenting curriculum. For parents fulfilling a referral from Hamilton County Job & Family Services, the Parent Enrichment Program (PEP) is a non-judgmental, goal-driven parent and child-focused program. With All Families, from Beech Acres Parenting Center, represents our focus to reach all families regardless of how they are put together. Our team is equipped to support foster families, adoptive families, kinship families, and any family facing challenges and hardships that need empathy and help connecting to resources. Proven Approaches To Support Families With All Families is proud to offer proven, evidence-based approaches to support parents wherever they are in their parenting journey. The following services have been designated evidence-based by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). With All Families also utilizes Triple P Positive Parenting Program and Natural Strength Parenting™ as part of a comprehensive approach to strengthening families. Foster Care and Adoption Successes Beech Acres Parenting Center has been standing behind those who stand up for kids in foster care for more than 40 years. Serving Greater Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Dayton & Montgomery County. We build a community around our foster parents. Our foster families support each other, build each other up, and offer a support network of people with shared experiences and unique perspectives to help every family succeed. Over the past 15 months, our program has grown 14%-making Beech Acres 6th in the state of Ohio for total growth among private agencies. We know that the need for loving homes continues to grow. We’re humbled by the number of people who have opened their hearts and their homes during a global pandemic, welcoming children who just need a place to be loved. This growth is a testament to our team’s ability to recruit, train, and retain quality licensed homes.
