Director of The Character Effect™

Jaimi has fifteen years of professional experience working in behavioral health, school-based services, social emotional learning, and non-profits. Before the leadership role in The Character Effect™ Jaimi served as the agency Program Manager for Behavioral Health. She is an experienced clinical social worker who has worked in both behavioral health treatment and prevention. Jaimi has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati.  She has focused her work looking at clinical and universal interventions to create equitable system change for children, families, and communities.  This focus has led to her most recent work:  bringing mindfulness and character strengths together to help develop The Character Effect™, a flexible developmental social and emotional learning program, supporting the entire school community.  Jaimi is the proud mother of two girls and enjoys running, yoga, swimming, and visiting with family and friends.
