Increase your AQ (Adoption-attunement Intelligence), by attending this succinct training on adoption sensitive language. We will review some words and phrases that are commonly used and present you with better options that can help you to be more sensitive in support of the adoptees in your life. Fortifying your circle of family and friends with knowledge of sensitive and respectful language is one of the best ways you can advocate for your child. This training will leave you with a resource to help you achieve that goal. Discussion will also include some helpful strategies for handling insensitive comments offered by strangers in public.
