Substance Abuse

Substance abuse is a pervasive problem in society.  In this class, we will discuss the nature of addiction, effects substance abuse has on the individual, children in the family, and legal proceedings, and local resources that provide help. We will also discuss the stigma of addiction and building empathy for people who have struggled with substance abuse.

**Training is currently occurring in a virtual environment. All dates and locations are subject to change as Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
