Annual Drives
Many of the families and children Beech Acres serves have ongoing needs ranging from personal care items and household essentials to therapy kits and foster care welcome bags.

You can provide gifts and resources to make the season bright for a family facing challenging circumstances.

Use our shopping list as a guide or shop directly from our Amazon Wish List to purchase toys and supplies for families and children of all ages.
Give a cash gift:
Cash donations will provide toys, essential items, and support for those in urgent need.
Drop off your donation by Monday, December 15th at Beech Acres Parenting Center, 615 Elsinore Place, Suite 500, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Equip-A-Kid
You can provide tools to prepare kids to learn, increase their confidence, and reduce their stress by donating back-to-school essentials.

The safety of our clients is a top priority. All donated materials and items must be NEW AND IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING. We are unable to accept any used or gently used items.

Evolving on PURPOSE

Due to mental health promotion and prevention programs being chronically underfunded we are blazing a trail to equip every family with the support and protective factors to yield resilience for overcoming life’s challenges. Therefore, Beech Acres is moving upstream to grow universal prevention and early intervention strategies across Greater Cincinnati. By collaborating within systems that directly impact youth, we can meet children and parents where they are to build a “Community of Care” that strengthens the entire family. Join us!

Each year, Beech Acres hosts a Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner to celebrate the unsung heroes that selflessly shift the course of a child’s life through love: foster parents. We are Hamilton County’s largest non-profit foster care agency, and we gather to recognize their impact on vulnerable children and our community. We hope to make this year’s event a memorable evening, dedicated to honoring those who make a difference each day.

This second annual mission-centered breakfast motivates and empowers members of the community to partner alongside Beech Acres as we work to build a strong future for all. The free event will invite attendees to learn more about Beech Acres’ initiatives and witness its long-standing impact through program testimonials.

For the second year, Beech Acres will host a family-friendly takeover of Washington Park with scheduled performances and activities for all to enjoy. On October 13, 2024 we welcomed 3,000 people to the festival, which included free La Rosa’s pizza, free cupcakes, free books from Queen City Book Bank, and family activities provided by the Cincinnati Zoo, Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati Recreation Commission, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

Are you looking for a tax-smart way to support Beech Acres mission? If you are 70½ or older you can lower the income and taxes from your IRA withdrawal by making a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA.
