Beech Acres is a child-focused family services agency in Greater Cincinnati dedicated to providing effective programs which preserve and strengthen families, enabling their children to live more productive lives.

We are aware that visitors to our Web site are concerned about what information is being gathered from site users, how that information is used, and with whom information may be shared.

We believe that you should have control over who receives your personal information, whether it concerns where you live, what your interests are, or how you choose to conduct transactions.

Therefore, we do not use or disclose information about your individual visits to beechacres.org or information that you may give us, such as your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number, to any third parties.

2. Information about beechacres.org visitors

Beech Acres gathers and analyzes certain general usage information, like the numbers and frequencies of visitors to beechacres.org and its areas – very much like television ratings that tell networks how many people tuned in to a program. Whenever you access Beechacres.org, certain non-identifying information is gathered from your Internet connection. This information is analyzed monthly, allowing us to determine how often the website is accessed, from where the website is accessed, when the website is accessed, and what information is being accessed. 3.a. Information about You

Beech Acres collects personally identifying information from you when you register for a group, make a donation, ask a question, register for a event, submit a volunteer application or employment application or sign up to receive SMS messages. Participation in these areas of the site is voluntary. We want to be very clear: We will not obtain personally identifiable information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us. Beech Acres does not share, sell or trade any information it obtains from you on its web site to any third party.

We may use the information that we collect to send mail or email about Beech Acres’ services or events to people who have visited Beech Acres’ site. Please understand that any submitted questions or messages reach Beech Acres through a standard email connection, no extra security is provided. Beech Acres intends to keep such information secure. However, you should be aware, that others may attempt to circumvent our security measures and access such information and use it, though any such use would be without our consent.

3.b. SMS Privacy Policy

  1. Information we collect:  We collect and store the phone numbers of users who opt-in to receive SMS messages from us.  Additionally, we may collect limited personal information such as name if provided by the user.
  2. Purpose of Use:  The information collected through SMS is solely used for the purpose of delivering relevant messages to users who opted-in to receive them.  The messages received will include appointment reminders, client support and answers to questions about the services we provide.
  3. Third-Party Access:  We do not share mobile information or personal information received through SMS with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
  4. Opt-In:  To receive text messages from Beech Acres Parenting Center please review and complete this form.
  5. Opt-Out: You have the right to opt-out of receiving SMS messages by texting STOP to a message that was received from Beech Acres Parenting Center. 
  6. Changes to Policy: We may periodically review and modify this policy.   Any material updates to this policy will be communicated to you.  You agree to review this SMS Privacy Policy periodically to ensure you are aware of any changes.  Your continued consent to receive Beech Acres Parenting Center text messages will indicate your acceptance of those changes.

3.c. Children’s Privacy Statement for Beechacres.org

Beech Acres does not knowingly collect any personal information about children without first getting consent from the child’s parents. If we inadvertently collect personal information about any child, we will immediately delete that information from our database, upon this information being brought to our attention.

This privacy statement explains our practices with respect to the online collection and use of personal information from children under the age of thirteen, and provides important information on your rights under federal law with respect to such information.

We do NOT knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. Because we do not collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen, we do NOT knowingly distribute such information to third parties.
We do NOT knowingly allow children under the age of thirteen to publicly post or otherwise distribute personally identifiable contact information.

We do NOT condition a child’s participation in online activities on providing more personally identifiable information than is needed to participate in the activity.
