Foster Care Appreciation Dinner May 18, 2018

Last Friday evening Beech Acres Parenting Center hosted our annual Foster Care Appreciation Dinner. The event was held downtown at Nicholson’s Backstage Event Center. Nearly Half Of The Kids In The United States Have Experienced At Least One Trauma In Their Lives

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. A new report released last week by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) includes some sobering statistics on the mental health of our nation’s youth. May is Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Every day millions of people live with a mental illness. This including one in five adolescents, 13-18 years-old. Last year we surveyed over 600 parents in the Greater Cincinnati area and discovered that their #1 parenting concern was “understanding kid’s mental health issues”.
