This course is presented by the Legal Aid Society.

We will discuss the nuances of education law, the rights of children to appropriate educational services, and the Child Find provision of the Individuals with Disabilities Act. Additionally, we will discuss educational challenges related to COVID-19 and school restrictions.

After attending this class, you will be prepared to assist children facing disciplinary action in school. Finally, you will be aware of enrollment barriers for children with special needs and how to overcome those barriers.

**Training is currently occurring in a virtual environment. All dates and locations are subject to change as Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
