Dawn has over 20 plus years of professional experience as an educator, teaching both in preschool and elementary learning environments. Before taking on the role as a specialist with Parent Connext, Dawn served as program director for Kinship Connections. She has worked primarily with children and Families from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Dawn has an extensive background in systems building and community relations. She is an advisor who aspires to provide parents and children with the necessary structure and guidance needed to achieve their goals. With a passion for supporting trauma-informed services, Dawn provides an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families to learn and thrive. She is the proud mother of a 30-year-old daughter and two grandchildren and enjoys singing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
